This Privacy Policy explains how Parea Travel LLC ("Parea," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit pareatravel.com, contact us, or travel or attend events we arrange. Parea is the business responsible for your personal information (for clients in the EU and UK, the "controller").

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details: name, company, email, phone number and mailing address, including what you send through our website form.
• Travel and booking details: legal names as shown on passports, dates of birth, nationality, passport details where suppliers require them, travel dates, loyalty program numbers, emergency contacts and preferences.
• Requests that may be sensitive: dietary requirements, allergies, medical or mobility needs, and accessibility requests.
• Information about other travelers or guests you book for, including children. If you give us someone else's information, you confirm you are allowed to share it with us.
• Messages, calls and feedback you send us.

Information collected automatically on our website

• Device and usage information such as IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, referring site and approximate location.
• Cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (see section 5).

Information from others

• Suppliers such as yacht lines, hotels and venues, when they confirm or update your booking.
• Companies that book group travel or events for their employees or guests.
• People who refer you to us.
• The travel network Parea belongs to.

We do not collect or store your payment card details. You pay suppliers directly.

2. How we use your information

• Respond to inquiries and prepare proposals. Legal basis for EU/UK clients: steps you request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding.
• Make, manage and support your bookings, including passing details to suppliers. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Arrange dietary, medical, mobility or accessibility requests. Legal basis: your explicit consent, given when you share the request.
• Send marketing emails and printed mailings about trips, events and offers. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Understand and improve our website. Legal basis: your consent to analytics cookies where required; otherwise our legitimate interest.
• Keep records, meet tax, legal and regulatory duties, and protect our rights. Legal basis: legal obligation and our legitimate interest.

3. Sensitive information

We use health, dietary, mobility and accessibility information only to arrange the services you ask for, and we share it only with the suppliers who need it to provide those services. You can ask us to delete it after your trip. We will not use it for marketing.

4. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third parties' own marketing. We share information only with:

• Travel suppliers (yacht and cruise lines, hotels, airlines, venues, transport and event vendors) as needed to book and deliver your arrangements. Suppliers handle your information under their own privacy policies, and some are located outside your country.
• Service providers that help us run Parea, under contracts that limit their use of your information. These include our website host (Webflow), our client-relationship and itinerary tools (such as Notion and Travefy), our email and email-marketing providers (such as Flodesk), and our website analytics providers (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity).
• Our travel network, Signature Travel Network, which provides supplier benefits and, only if you agree to receive printed marketing, sends printed mailings on our behalf.
• Authorities or others when the law requires it, or when needed to protect the rights, safety or property of Parea, our clients or others.
• A buyer or successor if Parea is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of its business. Your information would remain protected by this Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to run our website, remember your choices and understand how visitors use the site.

• Google Analytics measures traffic and how visitors find and use the site. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Microsoft Clarity records how visitors interact with pages, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, to help us improve the site. Clarity masks text you type into forms. Microsoft's handling of this data is described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended.

6. Marketing

We send marketing emails only to people who have agreed to receive them or who are existing clients, as the law allows. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also reply or email us to opt out. Printed mailings go only to people who agree to receive them. Opting out of marketing does not affect messages about bookings you have with us.

7. International clients and transfers

Parea is based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the US and in other countries where our suppliers and service providers operate. These countries may not have the same data protection laws as yours. Where EU or UK law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or on the transfer being necessary to perform the travel arrangements you have asked for.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for our business purposes, including providing our services and maintaining our client relationship, or as set out in your specific contract or agreement with us, and longer where required for legal, tax or accounting reasons. Marketing preferences are kept until you change them.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send passport numbers or other sensitive details by unencrypted email if we offer a more secure way to share them.

10. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing, at any time.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you also have the right to restrict or object to our processing, to receive your information in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You may complain to your local data protection authority.

If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale or profiling where those apply. We do not sell personal information.

To make a request, email info@pareatravel.com. We will verify your identity before acting, respond within the time the law requires, and not treat you differently for exercising your rights. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf with your written permission.

11. Children

Our website is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from them. When a parent or guardian books travel for a child, we collect the child's information from that adult only to arrange the trip.

12. Links to other websites

Our website and messages may link to supplier and other third-party websites. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date, and for significant changes we will take reasonable steps to let clients know.
